WELCOME TO THE 2018 SHERWOOD PARK TITANS GIRLS LACROSSE SEASON!!!
My name is Tom Bradka and I will be girls director for all divisions this coming season. I am excited to be returning as director and looking forward to continuing the great accomplishments of last season. Last year we had tremendous success with the Novice Girls getting silver in the City Final, Peewee and Bantam Girls teams taking home provincial gold, and Midget Girls remaining undefeated throughout the regular season.
Registration is now open. The breakdown of fees can be found on the registration tab at the top of top the Titan homepage. Depending on the year of birth of your daughter the fee amount will vary between the divisions. Fee payments made after March 10th will be subject to a $50 late fee, so be sure to be register with fees payed before that date.
COACHES **CALL FOR COACHES**
We are looking for applications for anyone interested in becoming either a head coach, assistant coach, or want to be on the bench as a trainer. If you are interested please submit your application early as we want to make sure we have coaches in place before the start of evaluations.
NEW for this year is that the Alberta Lacrosse Association (ALA) has mandated that a certified female coach must be on the bench during league games. Therefore we are urgently looking to recruiting female coaches. We will be providing mentoring as well as certification through the GELC.
The GELC will have a FREE clinic for women only on April 21, 2018 at 202-303-69 Avenue 8:45 to 12:30 classroom, and 1 to 4 pm floor session. Lunch will be provided.
The success of the Girls division depends on our female volunteers, so I encourage you to apply.
